  • Kids these days – here’s a quick swing around Capitals Prospectville:
    • Tommy Dipauli, Austin Wuthrich , and the Notre Dame hockey team had a weekend like no other. The Irish played a best-of-three set to determine which squad would advance to the Hockey East quarterfinals. The first game went into the history books as the longest-ever NCAA D-1 match after the teams played 151:42 minutes through 5 overtime frames. UMass won that battle, but ultimately lost the war as Notre Dame evened the series on Saturday with a 5-3 victory and then routed the Minutemen 7-0 on Sunday to claim a ticket to the next round.       • DiPauli had 3 assists on Saturday, and then scored the gamewinner on the first shift of the game and added an insurance goal.
      • Wuthrich got on the tourney scoresheet for the first time on Sunday, scoring a goal with just over 25 seconds left on the clock.
    • The Miami RedHawks split a pair with North Dakota, giving UND the NCHC regular season championship. They will enter the NCHC tournament as the second seed. Riley Barber had two goals, one assist, and ten SOG in this series. [NCHC]
    • Patrick Koudys and his Penn State Nittany Lions swept their weekend series with Michigan. They travel to Mariucci Arena to close out the regular season against Travis Boyd and the Golden Gophers. All that’s left is to determine the tournament seedings. [Centre Daily]
    • Congrats to Madison Bowey, named the Ryobi Hardest Working Rocket for the month of February. [@Kelowna_Rockets]
