Tonight's 8-Bit Capitals Lines: Glencross to Debut, Laich to Sit?

New, comments

With no morning skate today it's anyone's guess as to what tonight's lines might look like, but newcomer Curtis Glencross is expected to make his Caps debut, while Brooks Laich could be watching the game from the press box, per Mike Vogel. If that happens, here's a look at what the lines and defensive pairings might look like against the Jackets, with Braden Holtby (presumably) between the pipes:

8-19-90

Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Marcus Johansson

22-92-20

Curtis Glencross - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Troy Brouwer

25-16-42

Jason Chimera - Eric Fehr - Joel Ward

83-46-43

Jay Beagle - Michael LattaTom Wilson

44-74

Brooks Orpik - John Carlson

27-2

Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen

6-52

Tim Gleason - Mike Green

70
Braden Holtby

That would leave Justin Peters backing up Holtby, Laich as a healthy scratch (Andre Burakovsky back in Hershey), and Dmitry Orlov and John Erskine still on the IR.
