Tonight's 8-Bit Capitals Lines: Beagle in the Doghouse

New, comments

Per Alex Prewitt, looks like that first period offensive-zone penalty (that turned into a power-play goal-against) has cost Jay Beagle a spot in the lineup for the fourth and final (regular season) meeting with the Penguins. Cameron Schilling also gets another look on defense, with Jason Chimera's punch to the mug of Zac Rinaldo earning him a jersey, as well... so with all of that in mind, here's a look at what the lines and defensive pairings should be against the Penguins, with Braden Holtby between the pipes

8-19-65

Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Andre Burakovsky

90-92-20

Marcus Johansson - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Troy Brouwer

21-16-42

Brooks Laich - Eric Fehr - Joel Ward

25-46-43

Jason Chimera - Michael LattaTom Wilson

44-74

Brooks Orpik - John Carlson

27-2

Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen

45-52

Cameron Schilling - Mike Green

70
Braden Holtby

That leaves Peters back on the bench behind Holtby, Beagle and Aaron Volpatti sitting out as healthy scratches, and Dmitry Orlov and John Erskine still on the IR.
