    • Shane Gersich is now alone in 12th place in scoring in the USHL with 22-15-37, +9 in 33 games played. He had a nifty OT goal to defeat the, er, Capitols (of the Madison variety) 4-3. [omaha.com]
    • Madison Bowey notched a goal and the shootout gamewinner for Kelowna.  He passed a couple of milestones on January 14 vs Tri-City, grabbing his 100th WHL assist and 150th WHL point with a power play assist on romance novel protagonist Rockets rookie Chance Braid's first career goal. • Defenseman Patrick Koudys is captain of a surprising Penn State hockey team, currently tied with Michgan State for second place in the Big Ten . As a stay-at-home defenseman, he has six assists and a +9 rating. Not much scoring, so here he is modeling the Nittany Lions' new third jersey and a pretty groovy scar. [@wildrusk]
  • Congrats are in order for Calle Johansson, who becomes the 99th man to be inducted into the Swedish Hockey Hall of Fame. Heja sverige! [Aftonbladet]
