Tonight's 8-Bit Lines: Chimera Out, Burakovsky Up

New, comments

Per Alex Prewitt, looks like the Caps will go with a similar lineup to the one that earned a big victory in Anaheim over the weekend, with a couple of tweaks - most notably the absence of Jason Chimera, as the veteran gets the night off. With that in mind, here's a look at tonight's probably lines and defensive pairings, with Braden Holtby back in net:

8-19-65

Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Andre Burakovsky

90-92-20

Marcus Johansson - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Troy Brouwer

21-16-42

Brooks Laich - Eric Fehr - Joel Ward

83-46-43

Jay Beagle - Michael LattaTom Wilson

44-74

Brooks Orpik - John Carlson

27-2

Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen

38-52

Jack Hillen - Mike Green

70
Braden Holtby

That leaves Peters back on the bench behind Holtby, Steve Oleksy, Aaron Volpatti and Jason Chimera sitting out as healthy scratches, and Dmitry Orlov and John Erskine still on the IR.
