- From Elias: Alex Ovechkin scored two goals and assisted on two others (both by Andre Burakovsky) in the Capitals win over the Ducks in Anaheim. It was Ovechkin’s league-leading 10th multiple-goal game this season, three more than any other NHL player has recorded. This is the team-record fourth time that Ovechkin has posted 10 or more multi-goal games in one season – Peter Bondra had three such seasons for Washington – and the first since 2009-10, when he set a personal high of 14.
