Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

3 - Number of shutouts earned by Braden Holtby against the Bruins last season, becoming just the second goaltender in the expansion era (since 1967-68) to blank Boston three times in the same season and the first Caps' goaltender to do so. The Caps became the first team in NHL history to win every game via shutout in a season series of at least three games.

Holtby is 7-2-0 in his career against the Bruins, with a .953 save percentage and a goals-against average of 1.58 to go with his three shutouts.
