...the age of the second-largest group on the 2013-14 roster, with six 22-year-old players* Philipp Grubauer, Dmitry Orlov, Nate Schmidt, Patrick Wey, Michael Latta and Chris Brown - appearing in at least one game for the Caps. That trailed only the 28-year-olds for the highest representation on the squad, with eight different guys (Troy Brouwer, Eric Fehr, Alex Ovechkin, Aaron Volpatti, Jaroslav Halak, Mike Green, Jack Hillen, and Jay Beagle) sitting two years shy of the big 3-0.
