…the number of goals scored by Troy Brouwer in a Caps uniform. Since being acquired at the 2011 NHL Draft, Brouwer has scored 62 goals in 211 regular season games for the Caps (20 of which were scored on the power play, and one shorthanded), and added three more (one PPG) in 21 postseason appearances.
Coming off of a career-high 25-goal, 43-point season, the Caps will be looking to Brouwer to provide some much-needed secondary scoring.
Of course, he has yet to break out what would be the best goal celebration ever… but maybe he’s just waiting for Caps Goal #100.
