  • Recaps and other assorted musings on yesterday's win from us, Vogs, Monumental video (Oates, Ovechkin, Holtby, Ward, Alzner),, WaPo (and again), CSNW, Peerless, Frankovic, DSP, RMNB, and from the TD Gardens penalty box, CSNNE (and again), SCoC, and Hockey Independent.
    • Congratulations, captain. With his second (and oh-so-powerful) power-play goal, Alex Ovechkin became the 150th member of the NHL's 800-points club. [, WaPo, CSNW, CV (audio), PHT, RMNB]
    • Per Elias: Alex Ovechkin scored the first two goals in the Capitals' 4-2 win over the Bruins in Boston. Ovechkin's second goal was the 800th point of his NHL career and he recorded it in his 658th regular-season game. The only other active players who reached the 800-point mark in fewer than 700 games are Jaromir Jagr (626) and Teemu Selanne (636).
