7 - Number of Capitals defensemen since the 2004-2005 lockout who have scored two goals in a game, with John Carlson becoming the seventh with his two tallies in the Caps' 4-3 loss to Vancouver on Tuesday night. Of the other six, five of them accomplished the feat once: Joe Corvo, Jamie Heward, Bryan Muir, Dmitry Orlov, and Dennis Wideman. The sixth defenseman - Mike Green - has done it 16 times (one behind Sergei Gonchar for the team lead among rearguards since the start of the 1987-88 season).
