With no morning skate today, we’re guessing the lines and D-pairs will be pretty much the same as the ones that snapped a five-game slide in Chicago last night (though it looks like Evgeny Kuznetsov might draw back in), so here’s what to expect in front of former Hurricane Justin Peters in net:
Alex Ovechkin – Nicklas Backstrom – Tom Wilson
Marcus Johansson – Andre Burakovsky– Troy Brouwer
Jason Chimera – Brooks Laich – Joel Ward
That leaves Braden Holtby backing up Peters, Eric Fehr, Kuznetsov (or, more likely, whomever he replaces) and Jack Hillen as healthy scratches, and Dmitry Orlov, John Erskine and Aaron Volpatti all out with injuries.
