Tonight's 8-Bit Lines: We Laich Our Team

New, comments

Per Alex Prewitt, the Caps will stick with the same lines that almost snapped the streak last time, but with one notable change - after eight games on the shelf with a shoulder injury,  Brooks Laich draws back into the lineup, bumping Evgeny Kuznetsov to the press box. Here are tonight's lines and D pairs as the Caps look to get one in the win column, with Braden Holtby in net:

8-19-43

Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Tom Wilson

90-65-20

Marcus Johansson - Andre Burakovsky- Troy Brouwer

25-21-42

Jason Chimera - Brooks Laich - Joel Ward

87-46-83

Liam O`Brien - Michael Latta - Jay Beagle

44-74

Brooks Orpik - John Carlson

27-2

Karl Alzner - Matt Niskanen

88-52

Nate Schmidt - Mike Green

70

Braden Holtby

That leaves Justin Peters wearing the baseball cap, Eric Fehr, Kuznetsov and Jack Hillen as healthy scratches, and Dmitry Orlov, John Erskine and Aaron Volpatti all on the shelf with injuries.
