For a second consecutive day, a limited morning skate means we don’t really know what to expect from Barry Trotz in terms of his lines and defensive pairings. But we do know that Justin Peters will be between the pipes and that Steve Oleksy was recalled from Hershey earlier in the day (whether as insurance or to play is unclear). We’ll know more as puck-drop approaches, but for now, here’s what the Caps looked like to start last night’s game, with the change in net:

That leaves Braden Holtby backing up Peters, Michael Latta and Oleksy out as healthy scratches, Mike Green on IR (but eligible to come off tomorrow) and Dmitry Orlov, Aaron Volpatti and John Erskine out with long-term injuries.
