Only Sidney Crosby (44.4%), John Tavares (43.4%), Jiri Hudler (37.0%) and Phil Kessel (36.8%) ranked higher than the Caps’ dynamic duo, and while the story is a bit different at even-strength (Mikhail Grabovski actually leads the team, notching a point on 27.2% of the team’s five-on-five markers, which is middle-of-the-pack), the extent to which the Caps have leaned on their top-two scorers is certainly noteworthy… and has been noted here and here, among other places.
