- Recaps and other assorted musings on last night’s big win from us (with the night in GIFs), Vogs, Monumental video (Oates, Grubauer, Fehr, Green, Johansson, Carrick), NHL.com, WaPo, CSNW, Frankovic, RMNB and RtR.
- Marcus Johansson went where we told you he goes. [RMNB]
- Nice stop, Philipp Grubauer. [WaPo, RMNB]
- The ice… it was not good. [PHT]
- Via Elias: Eric Fehr scored his second goal of the game with 51.5 seconds left to play in the third period to snap a 3-3 deadlock, and that goal earned the Capitals a 4-3 win over the Lightning. Fehr is only the second Washington player in the last nine seasons to score a tiebreaking goal in the final minute of the third period. The only other Capital to do that since 2005-06 was Alexander Semin on Nov. 6, 2008 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
