The Noon Number: 6 - Number of consecutive games in which the Capitals have scored the game's first goal, the longest stretch since a similar six-game span from March 3-10, 2010. Unfortunately for the Caps, scoring first hasn't translated to scoring more - only Columbus has a lower winning percentage this season when opening the scoring. Regardless, the Caps will try to make it seven (for the first time since October 29 - November 11, 2010) tomorrow afternoon against the Devils... and hope for a better result.
