Today's Noon Number: 31 - Number of games Alex Ovechkin played in the KHL during the lockout.

With a 48-game NHL season "most likely," Ovechkin will play a maximum of 79 regular season games over the course of this cobbled-together campaign, one more than he did last season and as many as he played in 2008-09 and 2010-11 (he played 72 in 2009-10).
