3 - Number of NHL teams that had three of their 2009 draft picks appear in at least thirty games for them in 2011-12, including the Capitals (Marcus Johansson, Dmitry Orlov and Cody Eakin; Nashville and Colorado are the other two teams). The 2011-12 Caps were also the only team in the League to feature two rookies, aged 20 or younger, who were drafted after the first round and appeared in thirty or more games (Orlov and Eakin).
