14 - Number of current NHL coaches Caps bench boss Dale Hunter has fought (per HockeyFights.com's list), including Kevin Dineen, the head coach of tonight's opponents, the Florida Panthers.
In addition to Dineen, Hunter has chucked knuckles with fellow NHL head coaches Lindy Ruff and Brent Sutter, and assistants Dean Evason and Jim Johnson (Washington), Craig Berube and Kevin McCarthy (Philadelphia), Scott Mellanby (St. Louis), Lane Lambert (Nashville), Larry Robinson (New Jersey), Kelly Buchburger (Edmonton), Craig Hartsburg (Calgary), Rod Brind'Amour (Carolina) and Teppo Numminen (Buffalo)*.
* And at the time of Hunter's hiring, Anaheim's Mike Foligno was on the list, but he was replaced two days later.
