Thursday Roundup/Caps 6 Sens 2

[NHL.com Recap - WashingtonCaps.com Postgame]

Hey all. Last night was a blast, not only watching the Caps trounce Los Senatores, but getting the opportunity to blog the game for Off Wing Opinion. Check it out for all of my in-game and post-game thoughts (still more coming this morning, perhaps). I also wanted to take a second to thank Ellen and Kate, the Off Wing photographers for helping me find my way last night, and also Mike Vogel for his kind words and conversation. I look forward to doing it again sometime soon.

And now, your Caps stat of the day, from the Elias Sports Bureau:
With a 6-2 decision over Ottawa, the Capitals have won four consecutive games and scored at least four goals in each. (The previous wins were 5-2 at Tampa Bay, 4-3 vs. Dallas, and 7-4 vs. Buffalo.) It's the longest such streak for the Caps since they won five straight games in that manner in March 2001.
