Sam Carrier off to a good start in Baie-Comeau

Caps prospect defenseman Samuel Carrier got noticed for all the right reasons on Friday in his first preseason game for his new team, the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. He scored one goal and added two assists (all on the power play) in a 6-2 win against the Chicoutimi Saguenéens. From the Plein Jour de Baie-Comeau: "Unlike last year, the power play of Drakkar was an important determinant in the victory with four of the six goals scored on the power play. Defender Samuel Carrier quickly made his presence felt on the blue line and proved to be the real conductor of the offensive unit."
