"McCrimmon also has worked as an assistant coach with the Thrashers, Flames and Islanders, and could be a candidate for any of the five coaching jobs currently open -- Atlanta, New Jersey, Minnesota, Ottawa and Florida." So, I don't really know anything about McCrimmon, but I do know that there has been sentiment on this site for hiring a Red Wings assistant as our head coach. Is McCrimmon good enough? Do you think the fact that he has made himself known to be available for head coaching jobs could influence GMGM's decision-making?
