There's not a single mean one on the back end. Not one. The Rangers play Washington and have to deal with John Erskine, Shaone Morrisonn, Milan Jurcina and Brian Pothier, every one of whom will come from behind and use the stick.

I love figuring out new ways to represent data. I learned about sparklines from an Edward Tufte book a number of years ago, and was curious about how the Caps' collective performance would look when distilled down & represented in a simple manner. I hope you find the results interesting.

5 Cringe-worthy things at VC
- Caps fans booing the refs for no-calls on clean hits
- The VC ice... it's an abomination (not the worst I know... but still)
- Cap fans reaction after game 7 against the Flyers (classless... so much for claiming superiority to Flyer fans)
- Fans trying to influence pre-canned animations (audio meter, Roulette, etc.)
- "C.A.P.S. CAPS CAPS CAPS" chant - don't ask my why, but to me It just seems... off
