37.1 – Percent of Capitals goals since 2005-06 on which Alex Ovechkin has earned a point. Since Ovechkin’s rookie season, the Caps have scored 2695 goals (second-most in the League over that span) – including many scored in games in which he didn’t play – and he’s tallied a point on 1001 of them.
As incredible as that number is, it’s equally amazing – if not more so – that 20.3% of those goals were scored by Ovechkin himself, picking up #545 and 546 last night against the Penguins.
