Today’s 8-Bit Lines: Red-Hot Second Line Stays Intact

Per Alex Prewitt, the Caps will stick with the second line that produced all the offense on Friday night, leaving Jason Chimera on the second line to face the Flyers. And after being a last-minute scratch for the Ducks game, expect to see Mike Green back in the lineup (although he is once again a game-time decision). With that in mind, here’s a look at what today’s lines and defensive pairings could look like, with Braden Holtby back between the pipes:

That leaves Justin Peters back on the bench behind Holtby, and Aaron Volpatti and Cameron Schilling sitting out as today’s healthy scratches, with Dmitry Orlov and John Erskine are still on the IR.
