59.5 – Percentage of shots taken by the Capitals in tied game even-strength situations since January 1st (you remember that game, don’t you?). This is good enough for first in the League over that span. Up until that point, the Caps had been firing off shot attempts at a 52.1% rate in tied situations at evens, 12th best in the league.
