I don’t know what’s being said here between Erik Karlsson and Mike Green as their teammates try and rip each other’s faces off. I’m not sure I ever will. But amid all the violence going on behind them, they take a moment to share a smile and a warm embrace – a gentle reminder that in the end, love is all that matters.
MOJO BRINGS THE OVERTIME MOJO (4)
For all of his skill and ability on the ice, it’s probably safe to say that Marcus Johansson hasn’t exactly cultivated a reputation as a particularly strong, fight-through-the-check kind of guy. No one tell him that, though, because his effort on this play – one that would set up the overtime game-winning goal by Alex Ovechkin just seconds later – is pretty spectacular.
