In one of the more dominant performances of the tournament’s first week, Alex Ovechkin and his manic desire to blind young Tom Wilson soared past Corey Perry getting dumped into the Caps’ bench. The #4 seed lands a spot in the Division Final thanks to a healthy margin of almost 200 votes, and I can only assume it’s because the crazy eyes told you to vote for this one.
But will those crazy eyes be enough to carry the Shaving Cream Bandit past…
The rookie’s first NHL point also earned this GIF its first tournament win, as it slid past Mike Green’s graceful line change to take a spot in the Patrick Division Final
You know, had Tom Wilson known what was waiting for him in the locker room after this moment, he might not have made such a perfect play. Of course, had he not done so, he wouldn’t be facing off against… well, himself, in this very prestigious tournament. So there’s that.
