Per Katie Carrera, Mikhail Grabovski will return to the Caps’ lineup tonight in Nashville. Additionally, Julien Brouillette has been recalled from Hershey, so we’re going to go ahead and pencil him into the lineup and assume things will shake out a little something like this in front of Jaroslav Halak in net:
Marcus Johansson – Jay Beagle – Alex Ovechkin
Evgeny Kuznetsov – Nicklas Backstrom – Troy Brouwer
Jason Chimera – Eric Fehr – Joel Ward
Dustin Penner – Mikhail Grabovski – Tom Wilson
That leaves Connor Carrick and potentially John Erskine out as healthy scratches, Jack Hillen, Brooks Laich and Aaron Volpatti out with injuries, and Braden Holtby as Halak’s backup.
