Washington was oh-so-close to tying the contest but Evgeny Kuznetsov was rudely denied from five feet out by a spectacular save by Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. The Capitals were outshot again (by the exact same amount) so we’re all anticipating a return on investment in the final frame.
