Per Mike Vogel, the Caps will go back with Michal Neuvirth for the first of the home-and-home set with Detroit, and after leaving last night’s game in the first period, Mike Green is a game-time decision. Assuming Green plays, here are tonight’s expected forward trios and defensive pairings:

That leaves Tyson Strachan (called up earlier today) joining Aaron Volpatti as a healthy scratch unless he’s in for Green, with Mikhail Grabovski and Jack Hillen out with injuries and Braden Holtby manning the bench behind Neuvirth.
