Malamud's Interview with Ovechkin

Here's a link to the article where Ovechkin sounds off about the disparity in penalties between the Rangers and the Caps:

http://hockey.sport-express.ru/reviews/31365/

Malamud's translation:

"Not saying there was a phone call, but they wanted Game 7. For ratings. You know, lockout, escrow, league must make profit"

My translation:

"Not saying there was a telephone call from above, but somebody obviously wanted a Game 7. You know... How can there be not one penalty for a team in a playoff series? It was for ratings. Lockout, escrow, the league needs to earn money... I don't know who was working against us -- the refs or the league, but to not call clear penalties on them, and then whistle us for every little thing..."
