The Noon Number: 2

Today's Number looks at Caps goalies' recent successes in Montreal

The Noon Number: 2 - Number of goals the Capitals have allowed in Montreal in the four games there (all wins) since the two teams met in the playoffs in 2010, both of which came during the first of those match-ups, meaning the Caps have blanked the Habs in their last three games in La Belle Province, and have a current scoreless streak of 216:32.

In their respective careers, Braden Holtby and Michal Neuvirth have combined to go 3-0-0/1.17/.955 in Montreal (where at least one of them - and it looks like Neuvirth to start - will play tonight), 3-0-0/0.67/.973 in their last three trips there (including two shutouts - one each - that are part of the current streak), and 6-2-0/1.89/.931 against the Habs overall.

Also, jinxes don't exist.
