Today's Number takes a look at what Mike Green has been able to do over the past three seasons, and what the Caps have been able to do with and without him.

The Noon Number: 53.1 - Percentage of the Capitals' regular season games since the start of the 2010-11 season that Mike Green (who is questionable for tomorrow's game against the Devils after sitting out Sunday against the Rangers) has played.

Of note, the Caps are 50-31-14 (a .600 points percentage) when Green dresses and 45-33-6 (.571) when he doesn't. Of further note, Green has just 38 points in those 95 games and just 27 in his last 82 (a span of games that stretches over the past 830 days and counting). By contrast, John Carlson has played in all 179 regular season Caps games over the past three campaigns, and has 75 points in those games, despite skating only 318 minutes on the power play (54 minutes less than Green); Carlson has also registered .34 even-strength points-per-game, Green just .21.
