Also of note, exactly half of those multi-goal games include at least one power-play and one even-strength goal.
Put another way, that’s one full season’s worth of multi-goal games, and more multi-goal games than 465 “active” skaters have played, period.
Of course, Ovechkin doesn’t need a multi-goal game against Carolina tonight to hit milestone goal #400… but we’d certainly take it.
