"It's looking at yourself and wanting to win," said Brouwer. "Our talent level's there, our effort's not."

That's some tough talk for the media from one of the team's leaders, and one can only hope the talk is even tougher behind closed doors. But if that's all it is - talk - things aren't going to get much better any time soon.
