Clyde's Shots: Capitals-Sabres, January 27, 2013

The photos look so much better when the Capitals win, don't they?

A few thoughts on this batch of photos:

Catching the "Winning Starts Now" sign on the glass with just enough light as Slapshot skated by before the game began was an early good sign.

The number of John Erskine photos was, ah, unexpected. The Alex Ovechkin celebration photos missed the fist pump, but that's okay.

Thankfully, the shot of Karl Alzner about to go into the boards on an icing touch up won't be the last Alzner shot for a while.

The Capitals should salute the fans more often... not just after their first win following lockouts and game seven losses in the playoffs.
