Today's Noon Number: 19- Number of even-strength goals scored by Capitals defensemen in 2011-12, the fewest since the 2006-07 team that got just 15 (led by Bryan Muir and Shaone Morrisonn with three apiece).
A different philosophy behind the bench and a (hopefully) healthy Mike Green should go a long way towards turning that number around.
