10 - Number of forwards George McPhee has drafted in the first round, to go along with eight defensemen and a goalie.
Of the ten forwards, eight have played in 100 NHL games (with a possibility of Evgeny Kuznetsov joining that group someday; Anton Gustafsson was the only total bust of the group); of the eight defensemen, six have played in 100 NHL games (with Joe Finley and Sasha Pokulok being the two busts); and the goalie (Semyon Varlamov) has played more than 100 games in the League as well.
The Caps hold two first round picks in next week's draft.
