NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 30: Alex Ovechkin #8 of the Washington Capitals celebrates with teammates Marcus Johansson #90 and Nicklas Backstrom #19 after Ovechkin scored a goal to give the Capitals a 3-2 lead in the third period in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals during the 2012 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs at Madison Square Garden on April 30, 2012 in New York City. 42.2 - Time in minutes the Capitals have spent on the power-play through nine playoff games, the lowest total of any team remaining in the tournament (the Rangers, incidentally, have spent the most time up a man or two of any team in the League).
Of course, the Caps will gladly swap four-second power plays like the one they had in the last eight minutes of Game 2 for full two-minute PPs any day.
