83 - Number of shots (45 on goal, 26 blocked and 12 missing the net) the Bruins fired towards Braden Holtby's goal in sixty minutes of Game 4 on Thursday night, three fewer than they had in the Caps' Game 2 double-overtime win (44/27/15).

The 45 shots on goal the Caps allowed were a season-high and the most since they allowed 46 to Detroit in January of 2010 (they also allowed 45 in February of that year).
