189 - Career NHL playoff games for the six defensemen who suited up for the Capitals' last game of the regular season, with nearly half of those games (97) belonging to Roman Hamrlik. The other five blueliners and their experience: Mike Green (36), Dennis Wideman (30), John Carlson (16), Karl Alzner (10), Dmitry Orlov (0) (Jeff Schultz has played 19 NHL playoff games and John Erskine has played 28).

Of note, Bruins blueliner Zdeno Chara has 100 games of playoff experience, and Nicklas Lidstrom has 258, just eight away from the NHL record.

Also of note, the man who is tied with Kelly Miller for the most playoff games played in a Caps sweater? He'll be behind the bench for Game 1.
