9,997,359 - Total paid attendance for the 584 regular season and playoff games Alex Ovechkin has played in his NHL career to date, meaning the 2,641st fan through the gates at Verizon Center tonight when the Caps face the Sabres will be AO's 10 millionth customer served.

Of note, the largest crowd Ovechkin has played to is 68,111 at last year's Winter Classic (the largest indoor crowd was 22,289 in Chicago on March 14, 2010), while the smallest was a woeful 8,552 in Buffalo vs. Buffalo in Rochester on October 26, 2005 (ten days after the smallest announced home crowd... though there were certainly nights with fewer than ten thousand fannies in then-MCI Center seats).
