Thing ’o beauty! (and here was thinking he was going to do the backhand move).

Dirrrrrrrrrrrrrrty.

Now go email that to 29 (er, make that 25) other GMs.

So who are the 4 GMs that have been ruled out already?

Yzerman, Tallon, Rutherford, and I forget who’s running the Jets.

I see where you’re going with that one — naming the ones who had already expressed interest in him.

Actually, it’s the SE guys you named. My mind initially got thrown off by the previous affiliations of the first two guys on your list whose teams had expressed interest.

An 81 jersey? Yes, yes I think so.

Cross check and all call.

Solid.

It’s not just the hip checks either.

by bigonetimer on Feb 5, 2012 10:54 AM EST up reply actions

Will he actually stick with #81 despite rumors to the contrary that he would change once he knew he was up for good? If so, that’s the jersey I want for my birthday.

Eh, no matter what the 81 is legit.

Cross check and all call.

I think he is going to change to 9 next year. I have to decide between Orlov or Alzner for my next jersey

In my case, I’ve been debating between Eakin and Orlov. Since my birthday is July, I have some time to decide. So the question is… when will Dima decide?

I’d go with Alzner, unless you don’t want a Canadian.

Played a pretty decent game imo. Shocker.

Will be enjoying a rainy afternoon here taking in an infrequent-in-these-parts telecast of the Goal-Shakers in action. Guess it’ll be on Versus NBCSP because of some other event on NBC. Go Caps.

/Wish Obama would attend and sit next to the visitor’s bench.

So $2500 fine for a slew foot? Rinaldo should have gotten a major and a game for that one. I wish I knew why referees were so hesitant to call a slew foot. Even Shanahan called it “a dangerous trip.” That looked like a textbook slew foot to me.

Glad Hendricks is getting goals; he’s been working hard and deserves the rewards. What the hell is with this team and having various mid-line groups overperforming? The CLAW line has cooled down, but L-H-B has been connecting…or maybe it’s just whatever line Brooksie is on.

Plus I really like the one-two combo hits by Brouwer-Hendricks on the forecheck. More than once I’ve noticed a team get pinned in by them.

Kovalchuking ragdolling Schenn was amazing. Of course, somehow that leads to a shot at Semin.

Please, call me F&B.

From Schenn’s concussion perspective, that was a stupid fight
