The Noon Number
4 - Number of wins for the Capitals in their last five trips to Raleigh, where they'll face the Hurricanes tonight. The Caps swept the 'Canes on the latter's home ice in 2010-11 and have split the two games they've played there this season, with the Caps cruising to a 5-1 victory in November before getting shutout 3-0 last month.

These type of noon-numbers always worry me.
This season they’ve come up on the bad end of most of them.
At least its positive today, I hate coming here and seeing depressing stats.

Blame the data generators, not the data analysts.

Haha its not a problem, the bad stats are inevitable this year. Sometimes I just want to be ignorant of their struggles and pretend like everything is all rainbows and lollipops. /fantasyland.

Going out on a limb and saying that’s (at least in part) what J.P. alluded to.

Fair deal on a lease? Apparently accomplished, though the mission is not complete. Let's Keep United in DC and realize the dream of a stadium with local investment and incentives to US Soccer's greatest club franchise.

GM McPhee could take the hit, eh?
I confess I am considering blaming the diligent, well-meaning GMGM. A very pleasant and hard working fellow from the Great White North. Yet most Canadians are pleasant tireless workers I’ve noticed, Bob & Doug McKenzie delightfully excepted. Yet Cap’s GMGM let this one get away from him. Probably forest vs tree thinking. He could take the fall.
So, just in case u r too young to know of Bob & Doug I give you :
