OK, I was wrong. Friday – Thursday, it was the first day of that week.
I hate seeing Caps on the wrong end of goals of the week. I don’t think they’ve been the scorer in any that I’ve seen.

I don’t disagree with pointing out the puck control issues — they’re getting worse as the weeks go by — but Neuvy did pull a much better than usual move out right as you posted, so I just wanted to note it. Before it was swallowed up in the gaping maw of passing hell that followed.

The Walton radio feed is a good 10 seconds ahead of my video feed. It’s fun to watch, knowing that a goal is about to happen. At least when a Capitals goal is about to happen.

No because even though the net was dislodged, Clem went to the bench to get an extra attacker until the Caps touched the puck and the Refs would blow the whistle.
I read it as trying to highlight the fact he was nowhere near a DOG with some kind of penalty (to either team) assured. But I am pretty irritated by the drama injected into every contact by some teams.

It is almost like the NHL told the refs to call less during the all star break, seen a lot not called in the games last night and tonight and not just the Caps games.
Yeah, it does seem that way. That’s going to take some getting used to. And they need to do that at the start of the season. Gotta be damn confusing if you’re a player.

9-8 sounds better than 15-10. At 15-10 Its the same as 3-2 or 9-6.
