The Noon Number
-16 - Former Capital Tomas Fleischmann's plus-minus since December 11, worst in the NHL. The Caps will look to keep that downward trend going tonight in Sunrise.
(Incidentally, former Caps Eric Belanger and Milan Jurcina are second- and third-worst in the League over that span at minus-15 and minus-14, respectively; John Carlson isn't far behind at minus-12.)

That’s rough, especially for Jurcina… isn’t he paired with certifiable talent Mark Streit?

So Flash is now on pace for 27 goals, which I think would be the 2nd highest he’s ever had in the NHL. Buy or sell…

Shouldn’t that number be lower since they play 3 1/4 periods every night? /sarcasm

When you see “By N. Greenberg” in the byline, feel free.
Nice guys finish first, but sometimes the season is awfully long.
