I called the Caps today to ask about getting my ticket deposit/payments back. Teddy gets to sit on my money while he waits out the players. It's messed up. I'm not necessarily on the players side per se, but the owners shouldn't be able to use my money as leverage. The ticket rep threatened that I wouldn't be able to get tickets again (been a holder since 1996), whatever. Plenty of tickets on stubhub. Then she said how the 1% interest is better than a bank. Who invests in saving accounts? Is there any groundswell by fans to tell the owners to make a deal by a date certain or return my season ticket money? Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the matter.
