Now we’re playing the team that has given up the most goals per game in the league. I think the boys have more than a good shot. Some gave them no have against the B’s. Rechlicz or no Rechlicz, I look for a victory tonight.

Some awful rooting options as far as the Caps are concerned for tonight. If we want all the teams closest to the Caps in points to lose, that means we find ourselves rooting for the Rangers over the Devils, Boston over Ottawa, Philly over Winnipeg, and the Pens over the Leafs.

That just makes me feel unclean.

by Aliceanna on Jan 31, 2012 7:07 PM EST reply actions

Nope. Root against Florida, Winnipeg, New York, Boston. Easiest way in is to win the SE, and then the only teams ‘above’ them are NYR and BOS. (Not that this team is getting a #1 or #2 seed.)

Eat, drink, and be merry! And then drink some more.

by SmallZ827 on Jan 31, 2012 7:09 PM EST up reply actions

Until we bank a lot more points, I’m going to keep expecting FLA to keep picking up loser points. I want distance between us and all the other 55 pointers (and Ottawa, who, though they have 60 points, have played 4 more games than we have).

Obviously, I want us to win the SE, but everyone else losing makes me feel better.

I have no expectation about being anywhere near NYR and BOS or Philly, so I don’t so much care if they keep racking up the points on those we’re currently tied with.

Hi 2883.

Any thoughts on getting B-Mo the other day?

by Rather Bengt on Jan 31, 2012 7:43 PM EST up reply actions

I like it to be honest

He didn’t cost us anything while he may profile as more of a 3C than a 2C, I think he makes us deeper and better at the cost of a dman who ws never going to play in Chicago

by 2883 on Jan 31, 2012 7:51 PM EST up reply actions

I liked B-Mo when he was here but unfortunately he was given a 2C role when he should have been 3C. If the Hawks do that, he’ll be a good depth acquisition for sure and bring some good vet experience.
